We have designs on Aldi

We have been named as the lead architectural practice on Aldi’s internal store remodels for Cheshire, Liverpool, the Western coast and North Wales, as the UK’s fifth largest and fastest growing supermarket rolls out its new store formats.

As part of Aldi’s £300m investment to upgrade all existing stores to its new format by the end of 2021, we are now overseeing the internal remodelling more than 40 Aldi stores.

The new store format ensures more in store space for Aldi’s fresh, chilled and food-to-go ranges as well as simpler layouts, improved fixtures and brighter aisles in store.

As well as designing new merchandising layouts and the positioning of new elements in store, we have been working on modifying and updating fixtures and fittings. This has included custom designs for the supermarket’s Beers, Wines and Spirits and Health & Beauty ranges, as well as new lighting for the store.

We are a small, talented practice and the Aldi business is a great demonstration of the high quality work we can deliver. Grocery retail is moving at a fast pace and it’s exciting to be involved with Aldi as it continues to expand and develop its store portfolio across the North West and North Wales.
